A new direction for 2020 and beyond
Looking forward to a a new decade of Design and Digital Nomadness.
Over the past decade I’ve learned many things about myself and what I want to use my clients and skills for. I think I’ve done a good job in service of my clients and their businesses but moving forward into the new decade I want to focus more on helping underserved communities. I have a few exciting projects in the works for 2020 including a new round of FRSHW (see below). I think the language of design has permeated society but people, in general, still don’t have a clear understanding of the role that it plays in our everyday life. I want to educate children to understand the language and power of design and the how it’s principles can apply to variety of situations and careers. I after years of working, digitally I have a strong urge to pursue the analog again. I want to explore ways that I can bring my experience to traditional art as well as how to subvert digital and bring aspects of handmade art to this space. With the new decade comes a new sense of adventure for me. I decided this year to try my hand at becoming a Digital Nomad and finding new ways to work and affect communities on a more substantial level. All in all after 20 years of design I still feel inspired, hopeful and challenged and I could not feel luckier.
I’ve been designing and curating brands for various businesses and organizations over the years. This year I’m embarking on new challenges and exciting new projects. Click here to find out more.
